Crochet Headband free pattern

I made this crochet head band the other night out of pure necessity! I refuse to put the heating on until at LEAST november, i know I'm crazy but I'm cheap ok?!
They really did the trick of keeping my head warm! Not even kidding. Im not really into the whole headband stuff because i hate flowers or bows on my head. I would wear this one though.

Here's the pattern for you!

Hook size : I
Yarn: Any colour you like in a medium weight

Chain 11
Row 1: Hdc in each ch across (10 hdc)
Row 2: Ch 1 and turn, hdd in each back loop across
Row 3 - 38: Repeat row 2 (if you need it bigger or smaller just adjust the amount of rows)

Put the 2 ends together and single crochet them closed so you make a band

Round 1: chain 1, sc evenly around the edge
Round 2: chain 1, sc in every single crochet around.
Tie off and weave in ends
Attach yarn to the other side of the band.
Round 1: Sc evenly around the band
Round 2: chain 1, sc in every sc around.
Tie off and weave in ends

You can easily customize this if you wanted to!

If you don't know how to crochet then buy one from my shop! HERE

    1. Hi Aisha,
So to crochet them together you want to get to the end of your last row (you know from when you were going back and forth to create your length) then chain 1 and turn (as if you were starting a new row) but here you take your hook and insert it into the first HDC (not only in the back loop but as if you were making a real stitch) then you take the other end (where you started with your chain) and put your hook into the chain area, SC these 2 together. keep doing that along the edge.

      Hope this helped!
If not, i'll be happy to take a picture to demonstrate but i wouldn't be able to get to that till tomorrow morning.
