Crochet Bow Tie Tutorial

This crochet bow tie is a great beginners project. It takes very little time and is simply adorable!

So, this is how you make one step by step.

Here's what you need ...

* Yarn

* Crochet hook

* Small button

*yarn needle, my needle was just a very large sewing needle

* Scissors

To make the crochet bow

Finish off and tie.

To make the crochet bow tie strap

{ If you want to make the strap bigger, chain more, if you want it smaller, chain less }

Attaching the button

Assembly

Then you done!

Here are the written instructions ...

Bow

- Row1: Chain 16

- Row2: Hdc in second chain from hook and in each chain along

- Row 3: Chain 1 and turn, Hdc across

- Row 4: Repeat row 3, 5 times {6 rows of Hdc}

Finish off and tie 

Using yarn needle, thread yarn in and out of center of the bow ... 

Wrap yarn around the center a few times, tie off.

Strap

Chain 45

{if you need it smaller chain less, if you want it bigger chain more}

Hdc in second chain from hook and in each chain across

Tie off and leave tail

Sew on button

Thread the strap through the center of the bow tie at the back. 

You finished your first crochet bow tie!!

This could also be adapted for a girls head band.
