Up, Up and away!!

This past week i have spent a little time re organizing my home, since Alan has had finals he's had time to be my muscle so we got a lot of stuff moved and re arranged in over a few days. I love moving the furniture around, it gives your home a spruce. 

The boys room was one of the big tasks this week, they both sleep in the same room now but i needed to make some adjustments to make it a little more practical for them, after doing so i noticed that little Maddox didn't have a crib mobile! He's been spending his crib time gazing at a blank ceiling, poor kid.

Jasper completely destroyed his crib mobile so that was the end of that one. 

Thats when this little idea popped into my head. 

Hot air balloon mobile!

I personally love it, once i had worked out a pattern that worked well it was really straight forward. 

I think i could have really got creative with this little number and make all kinds of hot air balloon designs on the little balloons but i decided to keep it simple. It works perfect over little M's crib and would easily make an adorable little baby gift. 

I used left over cotton ease yarn by lion brand, polyfiber filling that you can buy super cheap from any crafty place and an old embroidery hoop that i was no longer using. 

I'm working on perfecting my pattern but as soon as I'm through with that task, i'll put it up in my etsy shop, so stay tuned!
